The YBA-5 Bass Master Mark 5 is a Traynor all-valve bass head from around 1970. Four inputs feed two 12AX7 halves, each pair with its own volume, which mix into a 12AX7 gain stage and a shared treble/bass stack with a Low Range Expander; a High Range Expander sits in the feedback loop. A 12AX7 long-tail inverter drives two fixed-bias 6CA7s from a silicon supply at over 500 V, voiced for wide-range bass response.
