The YBA-2 Bass Mate is a small Traynor bass combo designed by Pete Traynor, introduced in 1964 with the amplifier chassis mounted in the back of a cube-shaped single-fifteen cabinet; the closed-back YBA-2B replaced it in 1969. The circuit is unusual in using a 12AU7A as the input stage, followed by a 12AX7A driver and phase inverter and a pair of 6V6s, with just volume and one tone control.
