The U-1086 is a Univox valve PA head of 1971, built by Unicord, not a solid-state amp. Four channels, each with two inputs, a 12AX7 triode stage and its own volume, mix into a 12AX7 stage feeding shared treble, middle and bass controls and a master, with an aux input. A 12AX7 and 12AU7 drive a spring reverb with level control and footswitch. A 12AU7 phase inverter with presence drives four fixed-bias 6L6GCs at about 650 V into four speaker jacks.
