The Gilmore Jr. is a tiny DIY valve amp design from 2010. A single input feeds a 12AX7 gain stage, a tone control and a volume, then the second 12AX7 half. The output stage is unusual: the two triodes of a 6N1P run as a cathode-coupled push-pull pair into a small output transformer, with no negative feedback. The supply uses a two-diode full-wave rectifier with a standby switch; an ECC99, 12AU7 or 12AT7 can replace the 6N1P.
