The Special 6 Ultra builds on the VHT Special 6 with a second, hotter input: the Ultra input adds an extra 12AX7 stage with its own Ultra volume, beside a Clean input. Both share a Volume with push/pull boost (footswitchable) and one Tone control, then an effects loop with send and return levels, a line out, a MOSFET Watts control, an 11-position Depth switch, a Texture switch and Triode/Pentode standby. One 6V6GTW runs single-ended Class A.
