Vox AC15 - Normal preset
Verified · 82/100 confidence. Complete schematic. All component values readable. Parameters derived directly from the circuit.
The AC15 is the amp Vox started with in 1958, and this is its classic two-channel form: a Normal channel built around an EF86 pentode with a brilliance switch, and a Vib/Trem channel on ECC83s with an ECC82 modulator. A single top-cut control feeds a long-tailed pair and two cathode-biased EL84s with no negative feedback, on an EZ81 rectifier. It gives the thick, chiming Vox breakup at club volume.
