Vox AC30 Top Boost (1986) preset
Verified · 88/100 confidence. Complete schematic. All component values readable. Parameters derived directly from the circuit.
The 1986 AC30 Top Boost comes from the Rose-Morris era of Vox and keeps the classic three-channel layout. Brilliant, Normal and Vib/Trem inputs each have their own volume, with Top Boost Treble and Bass on the Brilliant channel. An ECC83 oscillator and ECC82 modulator give vibrato or tremolo (Speed, Depth, footswitch). A Cut control and ECC83 long-tailed pair drive four cathode-biased EL84s with no negative feedback, on a solid-state rectifier.
