The WEM Copicat Echo is the original version of Watkins Electric Music's landmark tape echo unit, one of the most influential and widely copied echo devices ever produced. Using a circulating tape loop, the Copicat delivered organic, warm tape echo effects that defined the sound of British pop, surf, and experimental music from the late 1950s onward.
