The Westbury 10005M Bass is the master-volume-equipped variant of the 10005 Bass, adding a master volume control for independent gain and output level adjustment. This feature allowed bass players to set a consistent input gain while adjusting overall stage volume, which was a practical advantage for live performance. The 10005M is otherwise functionally identical to the standard 10005 Bass.
