The Fireball (E625) is ENGL's 60-watt high-gain head built for modern heavy rock. One preamp with a shared gain control and three-band EQ is footswitched between a normal-gain side, clean to crunch, and an Ultra side for rhythm and heavy lead, with Bright and Depth switches, Master A/B and presence. ECC83s in the preamp and phase inverter drive two 6L6GCs, and an electronic monitor shuts down a failing power tube.
