The Marshall Major 1967 Lead 200W is the guitar-voiced version of the 200W Major chassis, delivering the Super Lead's characteristic mid-forward voicing through a KT88 output stage capable of 200 watts. At full volume the Major is a genuinely fearsome instrument, capable of filling any arena without PA support. Its sheer output made it the head of choice for players who needed to project across enormous stages during the early years of stadium rock, and its KT88 power section gives it a unique character — tighter in the low end and slightly harder in the midrange compared to EL34-based Marshalls.
